1. Scope
This policy explains how AssetRise, published by appbag.io, handles information when you use the AssetRise applications for Windows, macOS, or iOS, related online services, and the AssetRise website.
2. Information we process
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we may receive your name, email address, profile image, and an account identifier needed to authenticate you.
- Portfolio information: holdings, cash balances, transactions, brokerage labels, currencies, market symbols, notes, and preferences that you choose to enter.
- Technical information: security and diagnostic records such as request time, IP address, device or browser details, and error information generated when the service is used.
- Website analytics: the public website may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate visits and interactions. Browser controls can be used to limit cookies or similar technologies.
AssetRise does not ask for your brokerage login credentials and does not connect to a brokerage to place trades.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide portfolio storage and synchronization, calculate portfolio analytics, retrieve market information requested by the app, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.
4. Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by service providers only as needed to operate AssetRise, including Google for sign-in, Cloudflare for application hosting and security, and market-data services for requested quotes or instrument details. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Storage, retention, and security
AssetRise uses encryption in transit. Authentication credentials are stored using operating-system protected credential storage where supported. We retain account and portfolio information while an account is active and for only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups, and protect the service. No system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may sign out at any time. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. To make a privacy or account-deletion request, contact us at info@appbag.io. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
7. Children
AssetRise is a general financial organization tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age at which parental consent is required in their jurisdiction.
8. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as AssetRise or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or Store listing when appropriate.
