AssetRise

Terms of Service

Effective October 25, 2026

The terms for using AssetRise portfolio tools, online services, and AI integrations.

1. Operator and scope

These Terms govern the AssetRise website at appbag.io, the browser app at web.appbag.io, the Windows, macOS and iOS apps, related online services, and the AssetRise plugin for ChatGPT and other supported AI clients (the Service). The contracting operator is Yamamoto Kenta, trading as AssetRise / appbag.io, at 259 Bridgeland Dr N. Contact: info@appbag.io. Please read these Terms before using the Service.

2. What AssetRise provides

AssetRise helps you record, organize, synchronize and analyze portfolio information, including holdings, cash balances and transaction records. It is an information-management tool. It does not hold your money or assets, provide brokerage or custody services, or execute investment trades. Recording a BUY or SELL entry in AssetRise does not place an order with a broker.

3. Eligibility and account security

You must have legal capacity to agree to these Terms, or use the Service with any consent or supervision required by applicable law. Provide accurate sign-in information and protect your email account, sign-in links, verification codes and connected-device access. Do not use another person’s account without authorization. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We use reasonable measures to protect the Service and investigate reported security issues.

4. Your data and permitted use

You retain your rights in information you provide. You authorize us to process that information only as needed to provide, secure and maintain the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You must be entitled to submit the information you upload. Do not upload other people’s private financial information without permission, attempt to access another tenant’s data, bypass security controls, distribute malicious content, or disrupt the Service.

5. AI assistance and import confirmation

AI extraction and interpretation can be wrong. Check symbols, markets, currencies, quantities, prices, dates and duplicates against the original source. For plugin imports, choose an existing AssetRise account and the applicable import mode in the Import UI, review the complete projected holdings, and confirm staging. Staging is a draft operation. A commit requires a separate review and explicit confirmation. Unsupported transaction types must not be treated as supported types. A confirmed import may change records stored in AssetRise; review it carefully before committing.

6. Financial information and market data

Portfolio calculations, market information and AI-generated explanations are for information and organization. They are not personalized investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and do not promise any return. Quotes, classifications, exchange rates and calculations may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Verify important information independently and obtain professional advice when appropriate. Your investment decisions remain separate from the record-keeping features of the Service.

7. Third-party platforms

Sign-in providers, app stores, market-data providers and AI platforms such as ChatGPT operate under their own terms and privacy policies. When you connect AssetRise to a third-party client, the information and actions available depend on the authorization you grant and the features of that client. Check what you share and the permissions you approve. You can disconnect integrations using the controls supplied by the relevant platform. Disconnecting or uninstalling a plugin does not by itself delete information already stored in AssetRise.

8. Charges and purchases

Any paid feature, if offered, must show its price, billing period, renewal conditions and cancellation terms before you purchase. Connecting the plugin or confirming a portfolio import is not authorization to buy a subscription, transfer money or execute a trade. Any separate purchase through an app store is also subject to the terms disclosed for that purchase. Mandatory cancellation, refund and other consumer rights continue to apply.

9. Privacy and data requests

Our Privacy Policy at https://appbag.io/privacy-policy explains how we handle account, portfolio and technical information. Contact info@appbag.io for account deletion, data-access, correction or export requests. We may verify that you are authorized to make the request. Data retention, security records and backups are handled as described in that policy and applicable law.

10. Availability, suspension and closure

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security incidents and third-party failures may affect availability. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a material breach, fraud, a security threat or a legal requirement. Where feasible and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to resolve it. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. If we discontinue a material service, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to request your data where feasible, subject to applicable law.

11. Intellectual property

The AssetRise name, interface, software and other materials we provide belong to their respective rights holders. Subject to these Terms, you may use the Service for its intended purposes. This does not transfer ownership of our software or of third-party market data. Restrictions on copying or reuse do not remove rights granted to you by mandatory law or an applicable open-source license.

12. Responsibility and statutory rights

We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee investment results or the accuracy of information supplied by you or independent third parties. Each party’s responsibility for loss is determined under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

13. Changes and disputes

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, security needs or applicable legal requirements. We will identify the revision date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes where required. Changes do not apply retroactively to a dispute that has already arisen. If a material change requires your agreement, we will request it. If you disagree, you may stop using the affected service and request your data. Please contact info@appbag.io with complaints. If a dispute remains unresolved, either party may use the courts or other remedies available under applicable law. Nothing requires you to waive mandatory consumer protections or access to a competent court.
